Our Story

3 years in business
How we started
Get Whisked Away was established by Hannah in the midst of 2020 during the peak of lockdown 2.0. Having taken a break from a 10+ year career in merchandising the dream was to travel... alas 2020 was not the year to do that!
So instead of whisking away to distant destinations, I whisked away in my home kitchen in Maidenhead instead. And discovered I could make a pretty good cookie!
Turning this new skill into a business, I started to send letterbox cookies out on behalf of customers all around the UK. It was great helping people treat their friends and loved ones while they were unable to see each other.

Discovering my passion
Thinking this would tide me over for a few months until I found myself 'a proper job' it soon became something I was passionate about. I've now sent cookies nationwide, as far north as the Scottish Highlands and as far south as Jersey. The staff at the Post Office became my best friends!
The business has now expanded into different sectors including market trading and wholesale.
Turns out this was a success story that came from a global pandemic. A few years ago I never would have imagined I'd be a market trader, but I couldn't be happier about it!

Markets, coffee shops & online
The Get Whisked Away cookie stall can be found at several markets around Berkshire and Buckinghamshire and Get Whisked Away cookies can be found in many independent establishments in the Maidenhead area.
So get whisked away with the most delicious home baked cookies around!
